Dr. Ronn Elmore
Ronn Elmore is a relationship therapist, ordained minister, conference speaker, and author of the national bestseller, How To Love A Black Man, How To Love A Black Woman and An Outrageous Commitment: The 48 Vows of an Indestructible Marriage. He is also the author of Mercy, Mercy Me, a fiction novel. He holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Journalism from Antioch University, a M.A. from Fuller Seminary, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College.
Known as "The Relationship Dr.," Dr. Elmore is one of America's most popular experts on love, marriage and family due to hundreds of radio appearances in every major market across the country. In addition, his balanced, insightful views have been featured in Ebony, Essence, JET, Ebony Man, Newsweek, USA Today and Family Digest. He has been a featured columnist for Gospel Today and BET Weekend, and he is a contributing writer for Essence.
Dr. Elmore is Senior Minister of Faith Fellowship in Sacramento, California. In addition to teaching and preaching, Dr. Elmore developed Kingdom Shelter, an innovative transitional housing program for homeless men, The Encouragers, a highly-effective community, lay-counseling service and Project: MISTER, an award-winning program which places men in public school classrooms as learning partners to a predominantly father-absent student population.
He is the recipient of the prestigious Chrysalis Award, a previous executive board member of One Church, One Child, a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and a former professional actor and dancer. Dr. Elmore lives in the Sacramento area with his wife of over 25 years, Aladrian, and their three children.
